Movementinsound is a uk based independent music business run by 2 jokers aka Ste & Chris. Set up off the back of many nights out inspired by world class dj's & the whole buzz surrounding club nights & free parties in the early 90's when Vinyl addiction was peaking. Ste Gould aka Ste Degree & Chris Clark decided to bring their passion for music & the scene into a slightly more professional capacity & Movementinsound was born.

Over the years Ste & Chris have put out numerous vinyl releases & two mix cd albums & copious digital releases on there own independent record labels
Cadence Recordings ( atmospheric - deep melodic drum n bass ) &
Within Records ( atmospheric electronica )

Showcasing the talents of Torquay based artists like Aural Imbalance, Deep Space Organisms, OrangeSlowfade & Inspired Mindz, Dr Freebs , Isobar , Morphteck , Dj Enfusion as well as spreading the wings further working with artists from Italy (CafeAudio), Estonia (Nemos) & USA Jacob Todd & Kelly Noland.

Over the years the labels have been regularly in the record boxes of everyone from Ltj Bukem, Pete Tong, John digweed, Nick Warren, Deep Dish & Hernan Cattaneo to name a few.

Ste & Chris also worked closely with Deep Space Recordings & Cintamani where Ste hosted a regular drum n bass show with dj producer producer Orange & Blue.

Most recently the manic due have been prolific with the releases on Cadence putting out on average two new releases a month through nu urban distribution.
